The nursery where it all comes together... i suggest a bigger crib

Lol....i just put all those parts in there to start brainwashing the little one! :sinister:

Seriously though, it might be time for a sale at Wolfman's FZ6 Supermart!

As for a third bike..i already have one...my old Ducati 500 Pantah...had it for 15 years...i think that makes him Grandaddy!

So...the $64,000 Dollar Question is...has "Pinky" been on any midnight shake down runs yet? Now obviously you can plead the 5th, but wait...You're not in the US so the 5th doesn't apply....soooooo...spill the beans brother...what'll she do?

Well i have only been on a quick blat around the block a few times.... No lights, so a night run would be a little crazy...was freakin out when i did go for a run though...people out walking their dogs were giving me very angry looks!

Here's a little video i took tonight, just a taster of how the girl sounds at least.

NICE! She's gonna be a screamer! Tight bod too.

Is that a chain guide on the lower of the swing arm? I saw the Woodcraft case cover on the right, what one is on the left?

And I know a girl will never tell but how much does she weigh? Looks like they did a great job of removing stock crap.

:D good stuff! Any of the aussie crew coming with you to cheer you on and take pics?

She it yeah!:thumbup::rockon::cheer::D

Was going to be getting new tires on the beast Saturday morning but will put off 'til Monday if I have to. Sure as heck going to be there for Wolfman's big day.

Got a sneek peek and sit on tonight after work. Two words. Awe some!..LOL.

Cheers
Mike

Woodcraft on Left, no-name cover on right (It bolts over original engine case). Not a chain guide, but a lower chain guard.

As for weight, will have to get her weighed at the track this weekend...am guessing she is quite a bit lighter...the Seat unit, and front fairing are fibre glass, anything else uneccesary has been binned! except the side stand, which i found a bit strange...but that will be gone real soon too.

And by the way...I love a "Screamer"!

Hey Wolf, I see the black fork tubes...besides being black, are they upgraded at all or just stock and leftover? (Same for rear shocks).

there is also a sprocket set in there...stock stuff?

Yep, all stock, all left overs..the foeks have been sold...06 forks, only suitable for 2 pot calipers. 07 forks, and Ohlins shocks on both my bikes. Street bike has racetech internals, track bike has Ohlins fork internals.

How cool is that picture.
Edited to add: Lucky beggar.......!!! :Flip::D

I might be lucky...but i sure am poor right now, this latest purchase, plus my habitual buying of new stuff for "Damien" -ie, Hellgates seat, has bled the bank account dry...kids are eating rocks for a while! justkidding::surrender::scared:

I feel I'm a lone voice. :D

LOL! Nice paint job, and cheap too! a re-paint could be on the cards...paint work is pretty crappy after 2 years, and 5000km's on the track....Fibreglass also needs a little bit of TLC as well, nasty little crack on right side of seat unit...which was covered up by a sticker when i got her home.

Yamaha Blue is nice...but ever so predictable..as is the black of my other bike...Was actually thinking white, with a red racing stripe down the middle would be nice...

Ozzieboy is coming along, as will be my mate Gazza (Mechanic, Mr Fixit), and my big buddy, Silverback.

Am taking 3 sets of tyres...so will see how the tyres that are on there, hold up first, then if they show signs of drama, will come in for a new set...will be doing 6 x 15 minute sessions.

I do not plan on going too hard this weekend, more of a shake down, sort out suspension settings, etc...

Am guessing you will be doing similar with your new bike this weekend??

Yeah, I always tell myself it'll be a "shake down", and "I'm gonna be mellow on the track"...etc... but you know what it really is? A BUNCH OF BS!!! hahaha you and I both know that once you're warmed up and feeling it, hearing that wonderful I4 engine screaming (and asking for more) there is NO being mellow on the track!!

But yeah, the plan is to take it easy....................................... :D

keep it pink. There was no easier way for my "newbie to MotoGP" eyes to track a rider at MotoGP than by bike colors...LOL

The pink was definitely turning heads, when i was driving home with her on the back of a trailer this arvo in peak hour traffic...even got a couple of sniggers, from a couple of "redneck" looking types! which just encourages me to retain the pink!

Go the pink!:cheer:

It'll stand out like the proverbial whatnames.

As will the cow skin boots and helmet...lol.

Cheers

Your probably right...but even though this sorta rings true, i will always hold a little in reserve...i aint out to win a World Championship...and i have 2 kids who need their daddy lots...especially one who can go to work! Reality sucks!

As long as you wear a Mankini as my Brolly Girl!

That will turn more than heads! :Flip:

I know what you mean :) I won't go balls out either... it'll be the first time on that track and first time riding that bike, so my plan is to leave last in the B group.... do a couple of sessions just to learn the track and get to know the bike... oh and yes, I plan on having my suspension setup by the Pro at the track

Yes i plan on lurking at the back...not real interested in getting carved up by some Saturday Arvo hero!

As for the Suspenders, i am taking a friend who is pretty cluey re suspension, and will also be getting an expert to run over it before i go out, and in-between sessions..it just so happens that Adelaide's leading suspension guru is going to be at the track on Sunday...and he is a close friend of the Gazza...my volunteeer spanner spinner!

Lol.. You have more spares than Yamaha! :P The new bike sounds ridonculous btw! Looks so sweet with that race setup too! I'm guessing you're gonna have a lot of fun with it;) Stay safe out on the track and post lots of vids and pics please :D

Hey Jamie, I thought of a name for her too after I left last night... Whaddya think of "Christine".. from the movie (I know she was red, but just thought it was suitable ;) )

Gunna have a chat with the missus, hopefully she'll let me out and I'll come out to Mallala too.

:)

Hmmmm...Christine, it sorta match's "Damien" for the street bike...I like it, but i was thinking last night that "Pinky" has stuck already...And in fact, the bike is known all around the place as such.

Just found out something about owning a "track only" race bike....the temptation to just walk out your front door and get on it and go for a ride on the road, is very tempting...must exercise self control...gotta wait till the Weekend!

Would be awesome if you could make it to Mallala on the weekend...just dont be thinking your gonna be watching a "racer" go round the track...i will be taking it very easy, am actually very nervous about the whole shebang right now!
