Hi everyone,
yet another short question, which probably requires a short answer.

Do the ignition cols from an FZ6 Fazer 2008 fit on a FZ6 naked 2005 ?

I am 99.9999% sure they do, but I thought it would be a good idea to ask also the experts

Thanks

p.s.: Also, the rear brake calipers are the same in 2008 and 2005 model? (again..I believe the answer is yes, but your feedback is always welcome)

Both service manuals for 2008 and 2005 models indicate the same ignition coil specs :

JO383 (DENSO)
6 mm (0.24 in)
1.53 2.07 Ω at 20C (68F)
12.0 18.0 kΩ at 20C (68F)

Expecting feedback for the rear break calipers.
Cheers

:D You may be able to search and reference the parts numbers through ronayers.com

Anything wrong with them?
Are they broken?
I wonder if i should buy a spare set sometimes.

I experience some issues with my bike (low idle, low mpg, small interrupts, after warming up low response to throttle etc), so I have starting investigating one by one some staff:

- TPS (waiting for the replacement part)
- Will change spark plugs (put iridium on)
- Change air-filter
- Check the valve clearance and maybe I'll try to adjust them if found de-tuned
- I'll use some Seafoam in my fuel tank
- Maybe I'll change the ignition coils, but I don't have a clue if they are faulty or not.

I'll probably get new coils ones anyway, so if you are interested in buying my older ones I'll let you know when I do the change. However, if I realize that they cause the problem (they are problematic), then, there is no point to use them.

Cheers

Waiting patiently is the best in that situation.
I think TPS change will solve all the problems.
(Just as happened to me 2 years ago)
No need to tamper with anything else before that.
