Park in a parking stall!

That's right, casino security approached me instructing me that I had to park my motorcycle in motorcycle parking. I'm all for it, but considering the casino lot was nearly empty on a
Sunday morning, and motorcycle parking was located at the very end of the parking lot, the furthest spot from the entrance, kind of defeats the purpose of riding a motorcycle and having motorcycle parking from the 1st place. Rather than arguing, I just rode off and will never return. It took me two years to visit this property since I moved to Reno. I wanted to try out their restaurant, and maybe feed a few hundred dollars through their video poker machines, but never had an opportunity to walk through the front doors. I will not support a business that is not motorcycle friendly. Place is a dive anyways, and located in a not so good area. But it was during daylight hours, so I went for it. Security probably did me a favor, my Ducati probably would have gotten stolen.

Do Not Visit the Rail City Casino if you are ever in the neighborhood.

Thanks for the head's-up; hopefully you can get a letter published in the local papers, too.

I have been, but never by staff.

It's usually the "I hate it when bikes filter through traffic. They should sit in line like all the cars have to" brigade, who then complain, "bikes shouldn't be allowed to use parking spaces like the cars do".

The mind boggles.

When ever we do our border patrol rides we sometimes stop at the Golden Acorn Casino and MC parking is right in front near the entrance. I can't imagine them bothering a motorcycle parking in a car spot and generally motorcyclist will share a car space because we get it.....

Security wanted to check my small tank bag when I came in once. I asked if they checked all the women's handbags and he said he got my point. I also asked him whether he checked all the riders bags that came in. I think I remember letting him look in the bag. Another time some security person tried to flag me but I didn't see them and one of our other riders told me they were trying to flag me. I was already on my way to the restaurant area and said if they need me I'll be in the restaurant. They never showed up....

Check out the Western Village Inn in Sparks , tasty food in the fancy restaurant not the cafe. We had a FJR gathering there a few years back and the locals really showed up around dinner time. Owned by the Peppermill.

We went with FOUR bikes, (as I re-call) a Disney theme park many years ago.

Of course we could all fit in one CAR space and simply pay for one spot..(no MC parking)

NOPE, gotta pay for FOUR SPACES! We did, and then TOOK FOUR FULL spots, one for each bike!

Common sense seem to be lacking as time moves on... :(

I eat there about 4 times a week, I've literally eaten there almost 200 times since I moved here a almost 2 years ago. I lived right across the marina so within walking distance. They also have the best steak house in the city, nobody can come close to service, price and quality. And they have motorcycle parking. Fills up during the warmer riding season, but my bike is the only one occupying the spot during the winter
