Here is my baby. I'm waiting on my Hyperpro lowering rear suspension this week and I'm taking the stickers off today, but I think so far so good. I shaved down the seat but I would eventually like something with a lower profile. It's always a work in progress.

This looks great! You've made my decision more complicated, though...lol. I was dead set on the VS-02, but I like the matte piece above the headlight better on the VS-01 that you've got. However, one thing that always bugged me about the VS-01 was that the little windscreen seemed to sit way above the rest of the headlight housing (unlike on the VS-02). But on yours, it doesn't appear that way.
I've got an '06 too (round speedo) and yours is the first I've seen with the VS-01 kit. It looks good!
I've got some thinking to do!

I owe this board a picture of my finished Crow. I got so many good ideas and help from this forum, you guys steered me in all the right directions and now I'm happy as a clam with my new (old) bike!

Figure I'll post the images of my naked conversion since it's pretty much done. After the First year I wasn't going to do it but my riding style changed as I gained experience to more of a Super Sport style. So without the money to buy an R1 or R6 I figured I'd create my own ride to have fun on. I haven't been able to get anywhere to get some nice pics of it yet, but when I do I'll post them up. I went the Speed Triple route. because I love that look and can't afford A Trumpet right now. I also went with the Clubman bars because I have Ape like long arms and I like to be tucked in and going fast.

So I just bought my first bike (a blue '09). I don't even have the bike at my house yet, and I am already looking for mods. My searching led me to this thread and I love this headlight/fairing style. So, I went through about 20 pages and could not find the answer (maybe Im blind). Could someone please tell me where I can get this headlight/fairing at? Thanks in advance

PM Wavex...that's his old bike (one of the ones that started all our naked obsessions!) It's been a long time, but I believe that might be a GSX-R headlight with an aftermarket fairing. He'll be able to tell you all about it. He's got a Buell now (another bike I lust after), but he still frequents this site. GREAT guy! :thumbup:

Here's my new (to me) FZ6N stock the day I picked it up, as well as my old ninja 250 which I've since sold.
I got it resprayed and colour matched to my car. As you can probably tell, I like red. One is for when I wanna go fast, the other is for when I wanna go faster!
More mods to come.

Thanks economarte. I was really happy with how the paint job turned out.
I'll be sure to upload some pics soon with better lighting and using a decent camera. :thumbup:
