The Great Pumpkin Strikes Again!

As some of you know, my brother in law and his kids sneak over in the middle of the night and decorate our yard with the pumpkins that they raise on their farm.
We were "pumpkined" last night. Here are some pictures:

My mom would roast the seeds with a little salt. Now there are companies that roast the seeds with garlic and salt, Chile lime etc.

My great aunt would batter and fry the blossoms. :rockon:

It's actually pretty good and you wouldn't know it's pumpkin ale unless someone told you or you really had a special pallet.

All I got last night was toilet paper on one of my trees.

We give away as many as we can!! We peddle some off to the neighbors, I bring some to work with me (the white ones are the best for making pies), and a few disappear on their own (pumpkin theives!!) Jeff usually dumps some in the corner of our yard, and we end up with a few vines next year.
This year we "only" have about 150 or 200. Last year was over 800 (a bunch of tiny gourds along with the big and medium ones.)
I'm glad you all enjoy them.
