GIVI XPlus Comfort JET - Helmets

Ok, I love the look of the helmet and I am looking for something a little more ventilated for summer riding. My worry is that I dont want an open face helmet because if I put the bike down and land land on my chin I could end up losing my face . Has anyone had any experience with this type of helmet?

I've no personal experience with one and don't see I could.. it's not DOT approved.

Nothing matches dedicated full face helmet when it comes to chin protection. The helmet in question is closer to modular than it is to full face. Google modular helmet crash.. results are scary.

Not for me. Not enough protection.
