I have not painted the header on the FZ6 but I have tried painiting headers on a car (and exh manifolds for that matter) and never had much luck getting the finish to stay nice.
I did take my header off this past weekend and clean it up with great success thanks to a mix of info from threads...
All,
A friend of mine has been busy this year taking lots of photos for the MotoGPMatters.com website and they ended up working together to put out a calendar, it turned out fantastic with some great shots and a nice Vale poster included. Just thought I would pass along the link in case...
Ok - first of all MarinaFazer was that your red screened in tent on the hill looking out at turns 1-5?
If so, I was sat directly behind you on Saturday for the Qualifying round.
The race was incredible and I think it was made even more exciting by watching all of the practice sessions and...
I do that as well - not always but when needed.
(I noticed that at the end of the vid as well, I like that it all of sudden started playing backwards...)
I wore contacts for about 20 years and a couple of years ago had lasik and polarized shades have ALWAYS been a must have for me, sensitive eyes I guess. (insert jokes here).
Anyhow - I have a dark smoke shield and do alright w/o my shades. It does pretty well by itself.
I had it done about 1.5 years ago and I can't believe I waited as long as I did.
I have needed vision correction for as long as I can remember and I wore contacts for about 20 years.
When I had it done, they said that one of the factors for getting halos (rings around light sources at...
I have the uncaged sliders, anodized black with black inserts.
I bought them direct from Uncaged
uncagedcycle.com
As for structural integrity...the insert/puck uses a fair number of course threads to engage the housing, so I am pretty comfortable that they will do their job.
I like many of the ideas - nice work to all of you.
Personally - I would like to see the tuning fork in the design
what about the attached as a possibility?
(The donut is the tuning fork and the two rows of text should be stacked as the same height as the tuning fork - the font, size, etc...
Just parked next to the bike rack at Target last night...though it was way out of the way.
My preference is either a special bike space (not many of them around here), near a bike rack, or in a very visible part of the parking lot
I seem to be in the 50MPG +/- 2 for most tanks. That is with almost all highway, and generally not a lot of room to do much more than go with the flow...
When I had a clear visor, I wore sun glasses all the time and the visor only came down at highway speed.
I bought a dark smoke visor and I LOVE it, it is down all the time now and the sunglasses stay in the tank bag. At low speeds the visor is just cracked open and at higher speeds it is all...
I ride whenever the weather and road conditions are tolerable (above freezing or close to it, minimal road salt, no chance of ice)
Last winter I rode every month except January. This year I went from early December until late March without a ride. Too much snow, ice, salt, etc.
oh well. I am...
