very nice bike... two questions...1. what color rim tape is that... i ahve been waiting for someone with a blue bike to do that thanks :thumbup: and 2. what paint did u use for your black parts? thanks nice looking bike
 
The rim tape is reflective blue from a vendor on ebay. The black parts are power coated matte black.

awesome thanks.... if you dont mind me asking.. how much did the coat cost on the radiator cover, rear sets, and handle bar? i have painted my stuff black before but didnt like the end product appreciate the help :)
 
I also started by painting the radiator cover and foot pegs but the paint chipped off too easily. In the end, powder coating is the way to go. All together...21 pieces from a local place was $200. That included all the prep (sand blasting and plugging of all threads). I disassembled the rear sets completely and the triple tree was a PITA to remove because of the ignition switch.

ya i hear you... mine is chipping too.. esp on the right rear set... i love the all black look but not the chipping... 200 though doesnt seem to bad considering that included everything... nice bike though :thumbup::thumbup:
