Im looking to replace my brake pads and in researching sintered vs organic, I found that sintered pads are not ideal for iron rotors, only stainless steel rotors. I've searched and can't find what material our stock rotors are made from, can anyone help?

Take a magnet and see how it sticks on your rotor. If the the rotor is stainless it will have a lot less ferrous properties and the magnet will not stick as well to it as it would steel. I believe even if it's a stainless steel rotor it will have some ferrous in it because of the properties the ferrous material gives for friction.

I use sintered on my front but stay with organic on the back. My bike slows down with the motor differently than the FZ6 so that's why that combo worked great for me. The difference with the sintered on front was dramatic!
