Hi all members.
I have not been active here for a couple of weeks do to a crash with my bike.
I was going about 35km/h in a corner were it was some dirt on the road witch forced me and the bike out on a field. I have been on the hospital for 2 weeks with broken bones i my back, and sholder. I have to wear a "corsett" for 3 months to hold the back in posistion. I am so glad that I am alive and that my legs and head works. Everything happend so fast and i dont remeber so much until the rescue team arrived! Now I have been aloweed to come home, but I need special help to be able to take care of my self. The bike is to damaged to be reparid. I have done a lot of work on it but it is a material thing so I dont care to much about it. I post some pictures from the accident.
I hope you all out there will drive carefully!!!

Gosh, that's so awful. :( I hope you continue to a full recovery, and I hope we're all going to be more cautious than ever about watching for dirt, gravel, etc., on the road.

I hope you heal sooner than expected and wish you a very speedy recovery! We(every body at the forum) are all rooting for you....

It seems that you have a very positive attitude after the crash and speaks volumes about your character... keep it up !

And at the same time it is a reminder for all of us that we all do take a (higher) risk when ever hope on the bike.. Ride safe every body!

At least you're ok!

Must have been real unlucky to do that much damage at 35kph!

Heal up and get back on two wheels!

Cheers,
Rick

I'm really sorry to hear about your crash. I hope you recover fully and quickly. Thanks for sharing. A friend if mine told me when I started riding to watch out for sand. He said it's like ice on a motorcycle.

Heal up fast man! My brother in law was involved in a crash a few weeks ago. A man was in his lane and ran him off the road. He laid in a field for five to six hours before someone found him!!

I know how it sucks being in the healing process. I hope you have a speedy recovery and get back in the saddle soon.

So have you thought about your next bike yet?
