Can you please tell us a bit more about yourself? About the bakery? Perhaps a little insight to your past, hobbies, likes, etc.... will inspire us to come up with something unique to you and easily remembered by customers. :D

I do like Sweet Obsession though.

Ya that makes sense... thanks! I'm 25 living outside of Boston, been baking commercially for 11 years. The bakery will be online sales of cookies and other easily shipped items as well as local sales within the greater Boston of specialty cakes, similar to "Ace of Cakes." I plan to open a brick and mortar bakery cafe within the next 5-8years that will cater to the local community. Live music nights, places for group gatherings, and maybe even a bike/classic car night. I'm an outdoorsy kind of guy and love to try just about anything twice. My Name is Brian Harper which is why I've thought of just going by my last name.

What does the "B" in your handle stand for? Bob? If so, I'd propose Bob's Boston Delights.

Dammit, now I'm hungry.

EDIT: d'Oh! Missed your statement that it's "Brian"; that would work! And you're 25, and have been professionally baking for eleven years?!? Guess you've found your life's calling, huh!

Well, for instance: If this is you and this is a possibility, then Harper's Bakery in the yellow/white pages is hard to misunderstand, and hard to miss on the internet as well, (as you mentioned).
Pastry Worx is cool.
Sweet Obsession is very nice.
I like Lovin Oven better than Oven Lovin.
Just my opinions, (but I'm voting anyway : ) !
Good luck my friend!!!!!

I like Harper's Bakery.
Nice and classic.
Don't try to be too cutesy.

My $0.02......

EDIT: How about: Harper's Boston Bakery .....?

I'm jealous! I've been baking for about 4-5 years now, but I only do it as a hobby. Posted some of my stuff here: http://www.600riders.com/forum/bar/30597-what-other-hobbies-do-you-have-4.html#post319460

I always tell people that one day I'll move to VT and open a small bakery, but I doubt that'll ever really happen :( (too many expenses and responsibilities and I've been working in IT for about 15 years now.. going to be very hard to make that kind of money running a bakery).

Best of luck, man! .. and I like Harper's Bakery or Harper's Boston Bakery

I haven't voted yet, and I like several of the names you suggest.

There's a lot that goes into choosing a successful name; a good brand can make or break a company's success, and the name is where the brand begins, for my money.

There is a trend in my company toward "naming things what they are" so like instead of a product name, they try to work what the service does into the product name. Kind of elementary if you ask me, but just my two cents.

I rather like Harper's Bakery. I had to query Harper's Ferry to remember why that held significance for me way back in my memory. Perhaps, but not necessarily, folks in the East and South would have more of an "Aha!" moment than I would.

That is an intriguing idea, an online bakery moving towards brick and mortar. I wish you much success in your endeavor!

i thought of harpers ferry too.
i often eat lunch there on my weekend rides.

I used to work for a company called Diamond Machine Werks. So "Worx" is out for me.... :)

Not a fan of Penguin Bakery either. Somehow small fishy flightless birds don't make me go "YUM!"

Boston Brian's Bakery

Harper's Bakery actually is the best if it is available. It also extends to your brick and morter..

"Hey 'Spoon' is playing at Harper's tonight. Let's get there early and grab dessert before the show"

I like Harper's Bakery and also Sweet Obsession, but voted for Harper's Bakery. Simple, direct, and obvious what you sell. If I was looking online for shippable bakery items, I would google the word "bakery."
I am not a fan of the other choices.
By the way, be sure to let us know once you are operational, so we can check out your website and place an order!

I liked "Oven Lovin' Bakery" until I saw Champion's "Hauling Buns Bakery" even better. Not sure I'd use your name, it's easier to sell a business with a generic name rather than your own.
I'm thinking about your retirement in 20 years. :)

I picked Pastry Worx...cause everytime someone types in Pastry into their search engine, you may come up?

Keyword searches in this internet age, need to be considered, when developing a marketing campaign.
