Well, today, it finally appeared on the shelves at the Newsagent! Yep, my black FZ6 has been glorified in print, in Australia's No.1 Performance Motorcycle magazine, Rapid Bikes (rapidbikes.com.au).

It is a 3 page feature, which looks great, the bike came up real nice in the photo's...

Little bit annoyed that they got their story wrong just a little bit....saying that the bike used to be Pinky, my other FZ6, the Ex FZ6 Cup bike...but oh well, i guess they suffered from FZ6 information overload...and got a little confused!

Anyway, i scanned the article, and here it is...

sorry bout the crappy scans, but my scanner is a cheapy! Hopefully the article will appear on the Rapid Bikes website, when they update their website with copy from the new issue that hit shops today.

Shocking photo of myself!

But i did manage to get the forum mentioned, and the people that helped me the most with the project...so that makes me happy!

Am also glad to see that the many many many hours that Mikey (Ozzieboy) and me spent detailing the the bike before the shoot, paid off, the photo's look awesome!

:D

That looks so great! Like the way they did the gradient shadow into the page. Make the picture really pop from the page. What a hot bike!

Got the mag Jamie, pity you cant get royalties.
Congrats- the pics look good
hmmmm the modding bug just keeps germinating

Looks great Wolfman! Thanks for sharing. Do you ever ride that thing? It looks like a museum piece

I have ridden it 4 times in the last 5 days! Over 400 km's!

I just don't ride it in the rain...ever! And it gets maintained fastidiously!

+1 on that

Congrats again Jamie, looks awesome.

I've been eyeing of the great looking front brakes,(discs, calipers and lines) the ohlins rear shock, the Two Bros exhaust, the.... I could go on :D

My missus is going to hate you as I now have some new ideas.

Maybe mine will be Mag worthy someday. :sinister:

Mac.

Yeah I was caught a bit off guard by the photo, was a bit trashed from partying the night before, I needed a haircut, a shave, and a sleep! Oh well...

Looks like the magazine feature has reached a few people i didnt even know were into bikes! have received a request for me to do some work on a friend of a friends bike....wants a cafe racer made out of his SR500 that has been sitting in his shed for 5 years untouched!

another project! :D

That's cool mate

now you're making yourself step by step a well known bike modder, sweet!!!

congrats.

Ideally, I would like to get around 5 projects of my own before I would think of offering a full professional fabrication service!

Right now I know very little about what I am doing, and outsource a lot of stuff to people who do the work I need done very well!

But, having said that, I am learning fast, and have done heaps of stuff on my current project that I would of outsourced previously!
