Thank you one and all you are all very kind.
I am perfectly fit and well, thumb will be good as new in 4 weeks.
The sliders (puig) were excellent, the axle sliders (crash bobbins) which I thought were a gimmick are actually very good to.
Seriously no damage to my bike.
I need to check the tilt switch though.
I screwed up and thats about all I can say really.

Nelly, glad to hear it wasn't a serious off and you're going to be OK! Sliders are worth 100 times the cost when you have to use them. Well done!

Hi Mate,
The sliders performed very well. I think that I probably used them in the way they were intended. A low speed ride that resulted in a single impact low speed slide.
I have good confidence in them now and feel happy to wear them as part of my normal riding apparel.

PS obviously I meet Mrs Nelly at home who is also a nurse and in IMHO is hot. Mrs Nelly was able to provide marital first aid ie " You stupid idiot, its about time you grew up" lol.
