So I'm buying a FZ6 with low miles on it, only one owner before me who took excellent care of it.

Curious to know what things I should be looking for and anything that is helpful to know about the bike and possibly something that are common issues.

I'm beyond stoked to finally get out and ride, this bike is a blast for sure

Thanks for your help and information, much appreciated

They are pretty much bullet proof. If the previous owner hasn't done so recently all you need to do is change the oil, check the air in your tires, and go for a ride.

yeah, as hellgate said change the oil. for piece of mind you can also flush the coolant and swap out the brake fluid but for now, just get out and enjoy it!

See my avatar!!! I very well know what a '06 FZ6 looks like.

Don't care!!! post up photos!!! VERY important

:welcome:Ski360spin ! Also a priority would be to try and provide yourself with good protective gear. Jacket, pants, gloves and boots.
Maybe some frame sliders for the bike as your first mod to help in case it goes over.
