This seems like a great FZ6 community (NEWBIE)

Hello.

I've owned a 2006 FZ6-S (faster blue color) since it was brand new. LOVE the FZ6...best bike for the price ever IMHO. I commute and do touring in the mountains any chance I get.

I have been a long time member on SBN but the FZ6 section there has gone stale lately. I decided to see what else was out there and FZ6-Forum was the largest hit! I can see why.

Looks like a diverse community from all over the world, I like that. I'm on the eastern seaboard USA.

Here's a shot of me in 2008 on the Tail of the Dragon in Tennessee


2008 on Blue Ridge Parkway with my Uncle and Cousin who ride Victory cruisers...the FZ6 was plenty comfortable for me. We did 1200 miles (camping) and went to a wedding in 2.5 days!

As everyone else has already said, :welcome: to the forum. You'll find that this is probably the best motorcycle forum on the net. The people here are really helpful and friendly. It's great to know that you can ask a question and not fear that somebody will bash you for it...unlike other forums where it seems to be encouraged.

:welcome: to the forum you'll love it here. I was not mechanically inclined in the slightest when I first joined this forum. However seeing all the DIY projects I have learned alot and the help people offer on this forum is invaluable. I can now do most of the routine maintenance and am comfortable getting my hands dirty working on the bike thanks to the assistance and project write-ups people have put here.
