While race fans will probably agree that "these things happen" - racing incidents and all - I also think that anyone who has watched a lot of racing, or has ridden a bike on a racetrack, will agree: you can't bring that Playstation sh*t in a WET RACE.
If you watch the slow motion replay, he hit a small puddle and that is when the front end tucked. What a shame that it happened as he stuffed Stoner into that turn.
If I were Stoner I'd be absolutely furious. I thought his comment about "more ambition than talent" was spot on, in this context. I also thought it was hilarious. Good for Rossi for apologizing at least.
And how about Spies? And Colin Edwards!! Last lap, my wife and I were watching and trying to figure out when he was last on the podium when he was shown crashed out (what happened? The Speed TV coverage in the U.S. didn't show Edwards' crash).
What a race! Very exciting at least.
