akrapovic, not akripovic... I had one of those. In fact I had the leovince carbon and the akrapovic. Leovince sounds better. But akrapovic has a really high quality. I think you can't buy better quality. And it ran smoother than the leovince. Perhaps that is because the leo has a cat-eliminator...
Get well soon. Situations like this are the reason I wanted a bike with abs. Most of the time you think you don't need it. Till that one situation...Even in dry conditions...None of us is fast enough to prevent a brake from locking when something unexpected happens. On the track you don't really...
It is only a matter of money. But remember, life is too short do ride a bike that doesn't match your style. My brother had a ducati 696. He also sold it, because it really is not made to ride slow. It vibrates so much that your hands become numb and you really have to keep it above 3000rpm. I...
Bikes are like girls. The best are the one's that don't need the constant attention of everyone. And that are the girls that are medium beautiful and can do and think a lot more than Barbie. :)
I think there will be huge changes in the future. When I recently saw a clip of one of those google cars ridden by a blind man, I couldn't help thinking about the practical implications of that. Because I think that a lot of people drive cars because they have to. A lot of those people drive...
I understand what you mean. That is also the reason why after my fz6 got wrecked I bought another 600cc. I actually don't like a lot of torque on low rpm's. If I need power, I just rev. I like to choose for it. So that means I can ride in the "rev range" dependent on my mood. :)
I had both. The ducati is good looking and it really sounds nice, even with the stock exhaust. But for commuting you will hate it. The ducati needs to be ridden fast. If you don't it constantly will struggle. It has indeed more power on low rpm. But if you don't keep the rpm's above 3000, then...

I have one now, and there isn't that much difference with the fz6. I love it. :)
The biggest difference is the seating position and the sound. I really don't need an aftermarket exhaust. It's kind of bizarre. If you stand next to the bike it...
A 4cilinder is much more forgiving. If you choose the wrong gear on a v-twin 2 cylinder it will lock up your rear tire really fast. That is the downside of having much torque on low rpm. I think a 4 in line is much more controllable. If you want to go slow and relaxed it does that really good...
Well, that must be heaven. :) No cars around, perfect weather, no houses, nice landscapes and having ducati-proof wrists so you can ride with that riding position all day long. :)
