Is your FZ6 Perfect?

I noticed a small dent where your crotch meets the tank today, and have no clue as to how it got there. Doing a search I noticed that this has occured to another rider and wonder if there is a flaw in the tank. No misshap of any kind to cause this, does anyone know if this something that can be pulled out like a hail ding?

All ribbing aside (no pun intended), I wonder if the dents are caused by belt buckles, pants zippers, or jacket zippers? I've already put a little surface scratch in the tank of my '09 by simply dragging my sleave accross it to fill the tank.

I bought my brand new '07 last summer. Never been dropped, scratched, dinged or otherwise defiled...knock on wood.

13,500 km and still like new (except the mods I've done). Never been down. She's aging gracefully, and growing on me.

Bad luck for you! Hope she's not too damaged.

Mine is like brane new, thanks to my husband. He cleans the bikes and cars all the time. He uses truck wash and Mr Sheen all the time, plus they are kept in a big shed on our property.

Thank goodness I haven't dropped her. It would break my hyeart.
