Hi to all,

My name is Konstanty and I am from Poland. My bike is 04 fz6 fazer. It is my third moto after MZ250 and CB500. I dont see many Europeans here but it doesnt bother me much.

Have a good fun with your bikes and always drive safe.

Time to dig in and make my first post.

I am a long time rider and am thinking about picking up a used 2007 FZ6 as a small commuter bike and a play toy. I will scour the forum to answer all my stupid questions about this bike.

Hi, My name is TJ. I'm 44, and Love to ride(passenger or Controller).I recently bought my 2009, FZ6 and Love it. My first bike was a Yamaha 535, Traded it for the Vstar 1100, then 6 months later, I blew out my back moving a Full Half-Keg. I didn't ride for about 8 years, then My husband and I bought a Goldwing 1800. We started riding with others and in groups with Female Riders. I missed it soo much, that I started test-riding new bikes. For the price and the Power, the FZ6 was for me. Also, the leaniing forward slightly relieves the pressure and pain in my lower back. I put the initial 650 miles on the bike in two weeks(3 different rides). Still love it.
Anyway, this is a new style of bike for me and I have some questions, so, I will be posting them.

Hey everyone, I live in San Diego! I've had my FZ6 for about 4 years...looking to do some service work...looking for the service manual. I know its somewhere around here. :)

Greetings from Florida, USA!!! Just bought my first FZ6. Its a blue 2006 model. I won't be in Florida for long seeing as i'm in the Air Force and i'm getting ready to move to Korea my new bike behind :( However I will only be there for a year, and after that I will be making my way to north Italy for three years. So i'm boning up on my Italian, and dreaming of those fine Italian roads to start touring. Any recommendations?
I've read alot of posts here and have lots of ideas and plans thanks to all the great users here (thanks everyone). So I will be updating on changes and posting pics. Thanks again for the great site.

Greetings All
I have a new 2009 FZ6. This is my first sport bike. Over the many years I had big street biikes and choppers. The last two years I have not done any ridding. I thought now is the time to try a new bike and a new style bike. The first inpression is very good. Got it last week and have 450 miles on. The goal is to get a 1,000 by the end of next week. At that point I will be getting into the power band and really see what it does. Thanks to all of you for information that helped in my choice.

Jim

Hello everybody,

my name is Kostas and i am from Greece.
Just bought my self a Fz6 Fazer S2 2009 model..
Hope to learn from you guys and enjoy my bike the years to come.

Nice to meet you all.

Hi, I'm Dean

Just got a 05 FZ6...Red one.
Been riding over 40 years now and have owned about 45 different bikes.
No...despite my age I am not a HD rider!
Although I have owned my share of all out sport bikes the FZ6 is no slouch, if you are a reasonably good rider you could open a can of whoop ass on a lot of high end expensive stuff with this bike....a real bargain IMHO.

Word Up Everyone!

I am 28 years old and I live in Germantown, MD.

My first Bike was a 2002 Buell Blast. I know it is a little lame, but I think it was a great learning tool. I still have it (till I can sucker someone into buying it off me) :D Not that long ago I picke up my beautiful and amazing 2008 Cobalt Blue FZ6! It is just perfect for me, I like to just cruise around and every once and again hit the throttle hard and take a few deep turns...and look darn good while at it.

I have a year left of my Army Reserve contract, I already got deployed once and that is enough for me haha. For my regular full time job I am a Federal Police Officer. (Yes, it has gotten me out of tickets!)

LOL you look like a giant in that Buell.

I also have a year left in my contract. Actually a recruiter called me today and asked me if I'm interested in reenlisting. He offered a bonus of $10K. I have to think about it. I would like to transfer my G.I. Bill benefits to my children, but I need 10 years in, so I might do it. Like you I did deployed once (Afghanistan). What exactly is a Federal police officer? I'm interested.

lol yeah it looks like I am sitting on a pocket bike.

6 year, next Oct, will be enough for me. I was in Iraq when I was sent off.

As for the Fed Po Po job, I have a more specific title that would say who I work for, but I would rather not post who I work for on the internet. But, it's a cool job and with your military exp you should be a shoe in. Just look up the different Employers that send there Officers to FLETC and you should find a nice job.

Hi, My name is Dhanesh, I live in Madison, WI. I am originally from Guyana South America. I bought this 2007 candy red Yamaha FZ6 a couple of weeks ago with 6K miles for $3500. Not a bad deal huh? The bike is perfect and I couldn't ask for more. I have been romaing around this site for the past few months deciding what my next bike would be. Very glad I made the choice I did. I previous bike was a 2001 Yamaha FZ1 which I am selling (will pist in the market place. I put shogun sliders and red rim tape since I bought it. Pleast let my know what you think of the rim tape.... Some say it loks cheesy
