When you're going for a ride and it's 37 degrees, do not ride 2 hours North
Heated gear or not, I got very cold today.. still had a great ride

When I was in college I rode regardless of the temperature. There were mornings when I was so cold that my desk rattled from my shivering.
When I was in my 30's I'd ride right down to the freezing mark.
In my 40's I began to get a bit more conservative and made 40 my low temperature threshold.
Now in my mid-fifties...well you can guess where my cut-off is.
The good news is that I'll be riding in some very warm weather when in my 80's.
I won't ride below -10, so this was well within my range last year. This year, I've ridden in the low teens. Fortunately, haven't hit the single digits yet.
Wow, I can't ride below +26F as my faceshield frosts over, how do you keep that clear?
Is that Seven Springs by chance? When you're going for a ride and it's 37 degrees, do not ride 2 hours North

Cold is a real Bugger. Wind chill is the defining factor. I once set off from Reading to Birmingham (UK) on a beautiful afternoon in September. I had just got my first mesh jacket and was determined to give it a trial. Riding at motorway speeds I soon had to stop and put a base layer and my waterproofs on. I had let myself get to cold and out took me ages of soaking in the tub to warm up.When you're going for a ride and it's 37 degrees, do not ride 2 hours North
