In that case its fine in my book, as a pro photographer, thats the environment you chose to create the image, if you had used a cheapo camera, thats the image you get, if you use a soft focus filter, thats the image!
If you change the captured image- thats manipulation! I reckon its a great shot!

Leaving work one evening last week, I noticed this and busted out laughing. It's a "Phantom on a Stick", part of Hill AFB Museum's outdoor display. Returned and got a pic this afternoon, may have to enter it in next year's photo contest.

Appears we have another rider who are in need of riding gloves.

Crap. I'll probably lose my base driving privileges if anyone noticed that, and you did!
I never ride without gloves; I had the bike parked here, helmet and gloves off so I could operate the camera. Now I gotta re-shoot, with at least one glove on.

That's it, my photo gear "bucket list" is now officially retired:

_DSC0125_zpsg1layzq3.jpg

I've been lusting after the Nikkor 500 mm f/4 since about 1993, finally pulled the trigger on a used one (does not have VR, but this 7.5-lb beast will always be on a tripod). I got lucky, it's used but could easily be mistaken for brand-new, not a blemish on it anywhere, and came in Nikon's cool "foot locker" case. I've ordered an Arca-Swiss foot for it from Really Right Stuff, as soon as I get that I can go out and play. Yellowstone is only 4 hours north of me, so there will be a few weekends spent up there this next year. w0oT!
