Do you think plasti dipping is ok for the top yoke?
I've painted mine with a regular paint but after a while the paint got bad because of the ignition key rubbing.

I can try plasti dip or go for a powder coat.

Personally I don't think PD will stand a prayer. If you recall I've got two seasons on a powder coated triple, my key chain just now wore through it. PS - rear sets look like new but clasp to lock my keys together has a hole about 2mm in dia through the black PC (not shown).

FinalImpact is right, dip wont hold up. Almost nothing will hold up to the abuse that a triple sees (keys/rocks) but I'm moving my ignition anyways

As far as strength of finishes it pretty much goes like this: anodize, powder, paint, plastidip so if you can afford powder I would do it... I'm still debating getting mine done, but we will see how it holds up. Its a spare bike anyways :ban:

Here are the pics after "VHT" brand epoxy spray paint:

the old fairing mount holes were a perfect spot for turn signals so i drilled em out. also cut down the inner tabs and such, gave me a little more spacer under the tank

Hey, if you need more space under the seat, look at the S2 Coolant Reservoir and placing it under the the header in front of the block. It will free up some space. Just a thought....

So, if you can tolerate a little black behind the headers, that may be an option. item 38 and 44.

Great! Glad it helped!

I'm pretty sure 27 is actually the lower Radiator Support. Look at bracket 45.

Then zoom in on this SS bolt just below the reservoir fill cap.

swingarm bolts straight on... but building a new upper shock mount is a big deal

Did you add a mount for the OEM style link for that shock and S/A combo or mount the shock direct to S/A?

Hint im running an R1/R6 shock, but its revalved and has threaded adjuster. It worked out very well! Good control and nearly drop in - install. R1 shock install
