I came so very very very close to going to jail there. It was not good. LOL

Well at the time I drank ALOT. LOL
Sooooo....
I was kinda poor, in the Navy and our last port had been Scotland. I had spent lots of money on smuggling scotch aboard the ship, and hidden it in the little area inside the sonar dome where we had some of our equiptment. I was the smallest sonarman, so they used me for preventitive maintence out there since you had to open a watertight door, lay down on a creeper and pull yourself down a long tube to the little sphere where the equiptment is. We stored some of our stash of food, candy, and such and the like down there as well, since no chiefs or officers were interested in climbing out there.
I took some bottle of scotch (imported illegally to Norway) to the bar. The waitress noticed and called the police. They came and were not real cool on smuggling alcohol around with out tax stamps.
They let me go though after a while.
